Narrow V-Belts
Specification:
DYNAFLEX® wrapped heavy-duty narrow V-belts are produced according to USA standard RMA. The three narrow belt profiles in the USA are 3V, 5V and 8V. The standard depends on the imperial system of measure and defines that the wedge angle of the belt is 40 〫, and the ratio of the top width (w) of the belt to the belt height (h) is about 1.1. The profile 3V roughly corresponds to SPZ; and 5V to the profile SPB. It is possible to use belts in profile 3V and 5V in SPZ or SPB, respectively. There is no comparable DIN/ISO narrow belt profile for 8V. The cross section is illustrated.
