SQUAREROPE® Light Duty & Fractional H.P. V-belts contain the fabric cover, the tension member and the compression rubber core, whose structure, materials used and the production methods are the same as classical V-belts. The ratio of the belt top width to the belt height is about 1.6, which is close to that of classical V-belts. Therefore, in terms of appearance, the belt looks like classical V-belts with equal reduction. The SQUAREROPE® Light Duty & F.H.P. V-belt is designed for light duty transmission and is suitable for high speed drive with short center distance. It is typically used in low power electric motors and gasoline engines.
