SQUAREROPE® Multiple V-ribbed belts are made up of the top fabric cover, the tension member and the compression rubber core. One of its structural features is that equidistant longitudinal 40° trapezoidal ribs are arranged in the base of the flat belt, therefore the SQUAREROPE® Multiple V-ribbed belt has the advantages of both flat belts and banded belts. The sides of the ribs are the working faces, thus the contact surface and the friction with the pulley increase, and the load distribution along the belt width is relatively uniform, so the transmission capability is improved. With the help of the ultra-thin and light design, the bending stress and centrifugal stress are smaller during operation, and this makes the belt capable to be used on smaller pulleys.
Thanks to the belt structure, the SQUAREROPE® Multiple V-ribbed belt also provides the advantages of small transmission vibration, fast heat dissipation, stable operation, low stretch, large transmission ratio and high speed limit. As a result, the service life is longer, the transmission efficiency is higher, the energy-saving effect is evident, and the transmission space is compact.
